i found that a member of this forum wrote the following : "goshen.... an egyptian provance from 671-400bce ".
so it would also prove that moses could not write the passages where the name "goshen" was written.
Opus- Had a look into it but can't find anything spiecific at present,try again tomorrow. Is it the best example you have come across i'm sure there are others, and anyway can you not argue that it is just a later redaction of the original text to identify the the area/city. I am certain that is is the case of the translators of the LXX, they are following Herodetus, and others pre 300BCE, there some refs to that.

I think you'll find that most scholars agree that the city in Isa 19:18, is Heliopolis, as the oldest xisting text of Isa read city of the sun. The change to destruction is presumed to be a typical hebrew play on the word "Sun" and "Destruction".
I do not agree with you that there is no historic fulfilment of either Isa 17 and 19. Damacus was taken by Tiglath-Pileser III between 738 and 732BCE, and Egypt was invaded by Esarhaddon, all these events are recorded on ABC 1 (BM 92502), as well of the sacking of Babylon by Elam in 694, which makes Isa 20 refer to this even and not the later defeat by Cyrus.

it is said to contain some 255 names if we start from column 2 row 11 (pharaoh menes).
we could ignore its omission of chaires and later cheneris mentioned by manetho as this is probably just an error on manethos part as no other lists appear to validate this entry.
statistically speaking this means that the saqqara tablet only contains 25% of the pharaohs it should contain during these timeframes, or conversely it is 75% incorrect.
It does not appear as if you know very much on this subject, either biblical chronology prior to 1874, or Egyptology and the history of it's chronological dates.
As you quoted dates for Shishak and Necho in your OP I am suprised you claim to have no knowledge of them. It is always prudent when quoting dates to at least remember that you have, and second to at least understand how they were derived. You appear to claim you do not know either.
How can you write a paper which you expect to be taken seriously when you confess that you do not know the developement and origins of the dates you are quoting. I will enlighten you if you wish on the two seciefic dates in question as they are the first and most important to the placing of the Egyptian timeline of traditional Egyptian chronology which was first developed in 1828. It is a fact that all those who study this subject know, and without understanding this are not really in a position to discuss it.

Phizzy - I don't where that is in Josephus, but it does sound about right. In Against Apion he states that the temple was rebuilt in the second year of Darius, if this refers to Darius II then his second is 490 years from the destruction of the temple in 70CE, 421 BCE. Vidqun - Where is there any specific indication that that Messiah who is "cut off" is Jesus? Why would anyone draw this conclusion, there is no evidence in the text is there? And if this Messiah is Jesus in 33CE who is the Messiah who appears at the end of the first seven weeks (49 years)?

read Josephus and research this for myself." What exactly did you read? Did you miss out Life 1:5 ? As Josephus was not born untill 38CE I can not see how it was possible for Josephus to see Jesus in action, would you not agree? Unless you are proposing that Jesus was still visibly in action at some time after 38CE?

i suspect that i am the last one here who has read the book: the cyrus cylinder: the king of persias proclamation from ancient babylon, edited by irving finkel; published by i. b. tauris, 2013; 144 pages.. so i simply wish to record my deep admiration for the book.
it explains and analyses the cylinders text as well as providing a sympathetic account of the people involved with its ancient and modern history.
(chapter 1: the babylonian perspective; chapter 2: discovery; chapter 5: a persian perspective.
